How to Enable JavaScript in Linux


JavaScript is used all over the internet to make websites universally accessible and easier to use. JavaScript isn't always necessary, but there are certain websites and applications that require you to enable JavaScript to complete tasks such as filling in forms or clicking links. You can enable JavaScript in Linux with just a few clicks through your Internet browser.

Instructions

          Konqueror

  • Open Konqueror.
  • Click "Settings" from the top bar.
  • Click "Configure Konqueror" from the Settings menu.
  • Click "Java & JavaScript."
  • Click "JavaScript."
  • Click "Enable Java globally" to put a check in the box.
  • Click "Apply" and "OK."

          Epiphany

  • Open Epiphany.
  • Click "Edit" from the top bar.
  • Click "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
  • Click "Advanced" and "Privacy."
  • Click "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" to add checkmarks. Click "Close."

          Mozilla Firefox

  • Open Mozilla Firefox.
  • Click "Edit" from the top bar. Click on "Preference" in the Edit menu.
  • Click "Content" on the top of the window.
  • Click where it says "Enable JavaScript" to put a check in the box.
  • Click "Close."
